Finally the Nintendo 3DS is launched and I will be one of the hundreds of people running to the game store to get it!I have been waiting for a long time for this console to arrive and now it is finally time.It was released here in the USA on March 27, 2011 with the UK and Australia to follow soon.Let me tell you about a crazy gamer like myself. I have played many games in my life before, more than you can ever imagine.However, I have never played a 3D game that require me to wear no glasses at all.This is the most exciting thing that I have been waiting.Looking at a 3D image without any glasses will be an awesome experience.
It's going to be awesome watching Link swing his sword around again while on his way to save Zelda. I also can't wait to see classics like Star Fox, Kirby, Pokmon, and Mario all in fantastic 3D along with other new comers and classics remake of the Nintendo games. Having experienced the joy in playing those games in 2D will make you excited to see it in 3D.
The most fantastic thing about the new Nintendo 3DS is that even though it displays 3D, you don't have to use 3D glasses to play your games. This is a revolutionary breakthrough in both the gaming industry and in the photographic industry as Nintendo is the first company that managed to accomplish this feat.
Also, there is a built in slider to allow how strong the 3D effect is on the gaming console itself.Any player can adjust the setting to suit his or her needs.The setting can be tweaked to the maximum or minimum (2D effect) as the user wish.This feature is a fantastic user interface design offered by Nintendo for people who are not used to seeing 3D.In addition to those awesome feature, 3D is not the only exciting thing that comes with the Nintendo 3DS.
There are cameras on the system that allow you to take pictures. For a quick explanation, the device will superimpose 2 images and blend them together, making a three dimensional image as a final result. This is a very nice feature to have considering the price of a 3D camera can be quite expensive at this point in time.
The innovative gaming control is a new joystick that the user can use quickly and easily.The trademark stylus from many Nintendo DS series is also getting a major makeover.It is now can be adjusted in length by the user.These new features are significant improvment compared to the old Nintendo DS series.
As I have said previously, I really can't wait for my lovely Nintendo 3DS gaming console to arrive here.I can say one thing for sure.I will be spending more time with my new Nintendo 3DS than with my friends and family. They will see less of me offline and more of me online when my game comes.
